Boomslang, the only specie present in its genus. Its name means tree snake in Afrikaans and Dutch. The snake is usually about 3 to 5 feet in length. It has large eyes and egg shaped head. Its average weight is 300g. And fangs are almost 3-5 mm. Males are green and females are light brown in color.
It is extraordinarily dangerous snake mostly found in Africa. Its hardly fatal to humans because this snake is very timid. Its venom is HAEMOTOXIC meaning that it will effect blood clotting mechanism. It will take 24 hours for venom to work. But after it does, a person will bleed to death from every hole.
